Update the availability status of your artworks

It's important to regularly update the availability information of your artworks at Jose Art Gallery, marking them as available "on sale", "sold", or "not for sale". This improves the navigation for buyers through your portfolio, strengthens their trust in you as a seller, and highlights your activity and professionalism. It also helps prevent disappointment for buyers interested in artworks that have already been sold.

How and when should you update the availability status?

  • The website's system automatically requests updates for the artworks you have uploaded to your online gallery approximately every two months.
  • A notification will appear in the Artwork Management section of your artist profile, asking you to confirm the current status of all your artworks.
  • Please carefully check the status of each artwork, especially those that were previously available for sale, to ensure they are still available and that you are ready to sell them.
  • Once you have verified the availability for sale of the artworks presented in your online gallery, tick the corresponding box and click "Confirm".

What happens if you do not update the status?
  • Artworks not updated in a timely manner will face a temporary suspension in their sales capability. This means the "Buy" button on the product page will be replaced with an "Order" button, preventing immediate purchase by buyers. Consequently, such artworks will also experience a downgrade in their ranking 📉, affecting their visibility to potential clients on the site.
  • Keep in mind that buyers may not want to click "Order" and may choose another work available for immediate purchase. Therefore, we strongly advise you to keep track of the status of your works, as this process is simple and does not require much time.
