Crafted with the essence of contemporary art, this still-life painting by Larysa Kornienko, dating back to 2022, delves into the captivating world of marine invertebrates. The canvas comes alive with an intricate array of textures and colors, intricately representing a sea urchin. Artistic choices in rendering surface designs spotlight the profound relationship between art, design, and the natural world, highlighting the beauty found deep in oceanic life.
Artist Kornienko Larisa, born and live in Kyiv. She studied at an art school and won prizes in competitions. Having received an economic education, life changed direction into the world of numbers. I have always been attracted to everything aesthetic and beautiful and wanted to return to creativity. I started painting with acrylic, then switched to oil and completely fell in love with it. I really like how the oil “behaves” in operation. I mostly paint with a palette knife. A distinctive feature of my works is pronounced texture and bright colors. My paintings are in private collections in Ukraine, Germany, France.
