Waves on the sea

I wrote this picture based on my memories of a vacation at sea. At the end of a series of marine studies, I wanted to convey the transparency, green hue of the water and large waves at the beach. I drew under great inspiration, at one time, because I had experience in the image of water, worked out skills and visual representations of the technique of Ivan Aivazovsky, whose paintings helped me understand how to correctly depict the sea element. The painting is painted in oil on primed cardboard covered with protective varnish, decorated in a plastic baguette.
