I painted this picture using the glazing technique. The strokes turned out to be light, with a lot of transparent thin layers of paint. This is why the painting has such an even texture. I depicted a quiet evening on Lake Ladoga. This shot was imprinted in my memory after a boat trip on the lake. The smooth surface of the lake and the reflections of the sunset in the sky.
