House of Leo Bendersky

The masterpiece from the heritage left to city Kiev by talented architect Vladislav Gorodetsky commissioned by merchant Lev Bendersky in the late 1890s. The house was erected on Lev Tolstoy Square, it still exists, but the luxurious decor on the facade was shot down by the Bolsheviks in 1930, and partially blown up in 1943. After the war, the building was restored, but nothing remained of the beauty creation of the great architect. Today the facade of the building has no architectural value .. I decided painted my town as it was 100 years ago. 100x100cm/ oil on canvas / 2019 The picture is ready to hang (edges of a picture is painted) Signed on the front and back. Certificate of authenticity is included.
