The seascape is attractive because it allows you to demonstrate the artist's skill in depicting a transparent sea wave, the reflection of a luminary in the water, the randomness of splashes and sea foam. The sea has always attracted people with its endless expanses, the romance of sea travel, and a serene rest on the coast. In turn, castles are mute witnesses to history and keepers of secrets. With my painting, I want to evoke in a person a sense of mysticism associated with a mysterious old castle, gloomy clouds and a restless, stormy sea. To paint the rocks and the castle, a palette knife was used to successfully convey the texture of these objects. The sea and the sky covered with clouds were painted using the glaze method - layer-by-layer application of oil paint with a brush. This is due to the peculiarities of these objects, their translucent structure. Attention! The painting is sent to the buyer in the form of a canvas with the image rolled into a tube .. Without a stretcher. Having received the painting, the buyer independently decides the issue of purchasing a stretcher of the appropriate size and stretching the canvas onto the stretcher. In this case, you must be extremely careful and calculate the effort in such a way as not to tear the canvas.
