The main character of Andrei Klishin's conceptual genre work is the Seller of Illusions, a merchant who sells dreams and illusions. This is not just a merchant, but a weaver of bizarre things, whose workshop could just as easily turn out to be a portal between the ordinary and the fantastic. Through a combination of mysticism and artifacts, every detail of this interior whispers secrets of magic and mirages. The happy, smiling face of the salesman embodies the satisfaction found in the joy of imagination, prompting the viewer to reflect on the value of truth in a world where happiness can be achieved through illusion. When we look at this scene, the question arises: what realities are we willing to exchange for a pinch of miracle?
I am a professional artist who started my career late. But it is possible that this should have happened. Everything has its time. I have been drawing professionally since 2019, but I already have over two hundred paintings. My art is ambiguous and unlike any other, probably because I paint with my heart. Sometimes I use intuitive drawing, namely: not from life and not from paintings, but only what is in my head, in my soul, in my heart. But most importantly and completely unexpected for me, after a series of works, I began to understand where my images come from ... I think that I or my essence saw them in our past lives.
