Panathenaic amphorae (prize) — amphorae filled with olive oil from the gardens of the Academy, awarded to the winners of competitions at the Panathenaic Games until the 2nd century BC. e. The height of the amphora was 60-70 cm. 🧔Men competed completely naked, as shown on the amphora. The picture has an inscription in Greek "Αμφορέας των Παναθηναίων" - Panathenaic amphora. The picture is painted in a multi-layer technique, a layer of paint was applied to a completely dry previous layer, and so many times. The amphora has a beautiful smooth geometric shape. The picture is varnished and protected. The picture will perfectly fit into the modern style of the interior.
