The open face

The painting “With an Open Face” is one of my central paintings of the “Carnival” cycle. The hidden meaning of the plot is that all people at least from time to time wear masks behind which the true appearance is hidden, sometimes taking them off. Our whole life in one way or another otherwise is a carnival! The picture shows characters in carnival costumes with masks on their faces, only one lady opened her face for a moment.. The picture is made on natural silk with special German paints for silk, framed. At the request of the buyer, it can be delivered framed or without it. It can be sent in the form of a folded fabric and subsequently framed in a local framing workshop. In the description there is a photo of the painting in my studio, you can see how it looks in the design. The painting took part in a solo exhibition in 2014, in the gallery "Green Sofa", in the city of Lvov, Ukraine. My paintings written on silk have been in private collections since 1990 in Europe, America and the Middle and Far East
