"... I do not like spring; I am bored with the thaw ..." - wrote the great Russian poet. With all due respect to the classics, not everything can be agreed with him. After a long winter, the first sunny days bring us warmth and a feeling of freshness. The anticipation of the imminent awakening of nature, violent flowering and the repetition of the life cycle inspire optimism and hope for the future. These are the feelings the author hopes to evoke in the viewer. The work won the Audience Award in the "Spring Freshness" art competition on April 15, 2020: https://www.neizvestniy-geniy.ru/users/79752.html
I paint pictures under the pseudonym Alek Gross. The main style is romantic realism. Technique - oil painting on canvas stretched on a stretcher. The main tools are a brush, a palette knife. The main stimulus in creativity is music. Some of my works are called compositions and albums by contemporary authors and composers of the Baroque era.
