Description of the Artwork “Sunny island”
The title of the picture is borrowed from the lines of the song, on which more than one generation of citizens of a huge country was brought up. Once the censorship called this song vile and awkward. However, the author of the picture was impressed and inspired to work. For those who understand what this is about, work can become a reminder of years of beautiful and happy youth. I hope to evoke in the viewer a sense of the greatness of the forces of nature, the severity of the surrounding world and, at the same time, faith in their own strengths and hopes for the future.
