"Shooting Lorca» was the first personal photography exhibition held in Nicosia, Cyprus. It is a combination of studio photography and digital art. The theme was the poetry of Federico Garcia Lorca and how it can be imprinted into an image. The procedure was spontaneous. I read the poems and immediately noted the first images I was thinking of. I trusted them even if then I could make more pictures.
I am a Greek photographer who lives in Cyprus. I've been in photography for the last 10 years. Before I worked for many years as a copywriter in the advertising business. The light and the vitality of the people of the Mediterranean for me are the beginning and the evolution of my photographic perception. I am inspired by human expressions and reactions and by everything that can attract my attention. I think anything we see might be our best photo. I have organized 2 personal photography exhibitions in Nicosia: In 2017 by the name "Shooting Lorca " and in 2018 by the name "Closed" As a photographer, I like to deal with portraits, cultural events, personal projects and street photography.
