This painting takes us into the world of unsurpassed botanical minimalism, where every stroke of the artist Sveta Makarenko is filled with passion and skill. The eucalyptus branch, recreated with unrivaled precision and vividness, becomes a symbol of peace and natural beauty. The painterly technique creates the illusion of a real eucalyptus branch, and the thick textural layers of paint give the image a sense of presence and reverence. Part of the "Notes from a Botanist" series, this piece expresses the artist's deep love of nature and his unique perspective on fine art.
My name is Sveta. I come from a small town that in Ukraine. For me, the environment is a flow of visual material. I am interested in the characters of people, their emotions, inner world and relationships, the rhythm of nature and the rhythm of the city, the inner state of a person, the air, the singing of birds - all the life that is around is a potential, a source of pictorial expressiveness. I set myself the task of pulling out the most important thing from the stream, seeing in it a potential object of my work. For me, the original condition, not the visual resemblance. Travel and encounters with different cultures are also an integral source of inspiration. In my work, I experiment with different techniques, play with color, shape and texture, creating unique and attractive visual images. Through my works, I encourage the viewer to think about their own place in the world, their relationships with others and the inner world. I strive to create a space for dialogue and self-discovery, where everyone can find themselves and the opportunity for growth and development. I am not afraid to experiment and look for new forms of expression. My works are the personification of freedom of creative thought and vital energy. I do not set limits for my art and invites the viewer on a journey where he can discover new facets of his perception and be inspired by art. I continue my search and experiments, charging myself with new impressions and ideas. My works call for openness, courage and exploration of the unexplored boundaries of art.
