Description of the Artwork “Inner Light”
The light comes from within the image, this portrait is not about similarity, but about the internal state. Portrait resemblance, facial features seem to disappear, dissolve in the inner state, the inner light. The background is blurred, as if in motion, the image is isolated from the background, this gives a feeling of a frozen moment, concentration on the inner world. Expressionism, portrait, pop art, symbolism, Francis Bacon, Edvard Munch, Egon Schiele, Henri Matisse, Georgia Okiff, Tamara de Lempicka. Materials: canvas on cardboard, acrylic, varnish.
