Description of the Artwork “Winter sun. 200x547 cm”

Automatic translation

The idea for the painting arose after a trip to Karelia. The original square canvas could not contain all the beauty of the winter forest and tripled in size during the work process. The number of layers of acrylic also increased, and the textures required more and more new plastic moves. The completely new world that emerged contained both concrete places and abstract images. This is how not only the image of the Russian winter appeared, but also a unique artistic language that made it possible to convey the beauty of the snow-covered Karelian forest.
