Morgunov Maxim Vladimirovich was born in Leningrad in 1981. In 2005, he graduated with honors from the St. Petersburg State Academic Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named after I.E. Repin (St. Petersburg Academy of Arts named after Ilya Repin.) Workshop of the People's Artist, Professor A.A. Mylnikova. In 2007, he graduated from graduate school at the St. Petersburg State Academic Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named after I.E. Repina. Since 2006 - member of the St. Petersburg Union of Artists. Since 2006 he has been teaching at the St. Petersburg Academy of Arts named after Ilya Repin. Currently he is a senior teacher at the monumental workshop of Professor S.N. Repin. In 2008, 2010 he participated in the creation of a portrait gallery of the chairmen of the State Council of the Russian Empire and the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation. From 2009 to 2012 - member of the Guild of Painters of St. Petersburg. In 2010, the representative office of the President of the Russian Federation purchased a work from the artist for the Gorki-9 Residence. In 2017, he trained at the Academy of Fine Arts of Naples (Italy). In 2019 - awarded the title of Visiting Professor at Northwestern University of Nationalities, Gansu Province (China). In 2023, he participated in a collaboration with the German automobile brand PORSCHE. In 2023, a creative meeting took place in the Lecture Hall of the Russian Museum. In collaboration with Neringa Morgunova, he created a number of monumental paintings. Co-founder of the art studio "Proart" in St. Petersburg. The paintings are located: in the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, in the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, in the meeting of the ex-President of the Russian Federation D.A.
