The picture was painted in Ukraine during 2022-2023. At the beginning of the war in a front-line city, the only salvation for the psyche was a small opportunity to paint small pictures in open air. I drew hope for a happy future, how the trees blossomed. It was the only thing that distracted from explosions, air raids, cold and sometimes hunger. This picture is about happiness, hope, beauty, which does not depend on us and tells a completely different story. I wrote it in several passes, so it is not perfect like today's reality, but strives to be beautiful.
