Description of the Artwork “Sunflowers”

Automatic translation

The painting "Sunflowers" consists of nine canvases. During the work, the artist constantly swapped them and poured new layers of acrylic. As a result, unexpected, sometimes even illogical plastic systems were formed. Textures and color modules depicted the impression and emotional perception of nature rather than a fragment of a specific landscape. Almost every canvas tried itself in a different role before finding its place in the magic puzzle. And the sunflowers, which, according to the initial plan, were only supposed to be a complementary element, now took over the entire space, and like a mysterious, impenetrable jungle hung over the main character of the picture. This is the son of an artist who found himself in this unusual world of huge flowers. Sunflowers, surprising and bewitching, reveal new horizons of the boy’s knowledge.
