SVETLANA PLUGAREVA My name is Svetlana Plugareva, I am 54 years old and I am an artist from Russia. My childhood was mostly spent in the Russian North where I had started studying art in Pushkin art school. I graduated as an artist-re-storer after we moved to my mother homeland in Moldova. I took a very long break into my art career and came back to it a few years ago, after my trip through Sri-Lanka, in an absolutely different approach. I observe the nature of art and the birth of creative meaning and then translate it to reality using natural spices combining it with acryl and potal. Abstractionism is my art language, because I am trying to express my soul through many shades, textures and materials, with a brush and a palette knife, also using my hands, fingers and palms, so that emotions and meanings can be combined into the creation.
