Description of the Artwork “Piece of Serenity”
This beautiful piece of art is what I call Piece of Serenity. As an artist I've wanted to try, and capture a true get away trip. Imagine, going on a get away trip to a cabin in the woods. Around the winter season, sitting in a recliner by the fire place. Perhaps getting warm with a cup of hot cocoa, looking out through a window. Observing nature at it's best during the winter. The snow laid on the ground the trees in the front cover with highlights of snow. Out in the woods perhaps some snow birds singing, just pure relaxation. The Great Outdoors, just to get away from it all.. The reason I chosen to not use color on this, as an artist. I thought to myself color would might have taken away what I was trying to capture, so I've decided to go black and white. This fantastic gorgeous acrylic painting was applied on a 24x36x5/8 thick stretched canvas. All the paints that were used are gesso base black, white and hints of light grey.. I believe anyone who's over due for a piece of serenity this fantastic gorgeous piece of art is for you...
