Paradise Under A Blue Moon

This was a vision cover from one of Bob Ross collection from his show The Joy of painting on PBS. I've wanted to create my version of it. I stared with painting the canvas black using a acrylic flat paint called black gesso. Then added dry oil paints in different areas of the canvas, so when touch with white oil paint the colors would jump out.. The painting is an seascape night scene, of an beach off a coast island. The blue sea comes to light under a beautiful full moon giving everything a blue tint in color. The Sand Hill holds palm trees & grass seaweeds, and the shore of wet sand with a stone. I used oil colors of blue, green, white & dark sienna along with light grey for highlights. This, gorgeous night time seascape painting is applied on a 18x24x5/8 thick stretched canvas... It's one I think would go great in anyone's room of choice or office space a nice piece of art to have...
