The Horizon

The Horizon... is a Gorgeous silhouette oil painting of an early morning sunrise with a beautiful red tone with orange tint & medium yellow sky.. The silhouette parts are dark shadow clouds & a pelican on a wood stomp, with birds in the sky.. The mediums I used we're Scarlet Red, Bright Orange, Medium Yellow & linseed oil. I first use black gesso, which is an acrylic flat paint then added a thin coat of linseed oil. Only to apply the oil colors when it was all dried ... A true all around beautiful masterpiece of what I've capture one morning off a beach shore on a early fishing trip... This fantastic art piece is applied on a 11x14x5/8 thick stretched canvas...
