The title of the painting is translated from Latin as “Seize the moment, believe in the future as little as possible, this is a call to live every day with pleasure.” The man's face is clearer - he is trying to stop the moment. The girl’s face is blurred, she seems to be slipping away, so there is a feeling of the transience of the moment. No one and nothing belongs to us, so seize the moment. The painting belongs to expressionism, symbolism, abstraction and fauvism. She echoes such artists as Edvard Munch, Oskar Kokoschka, Otto Dix, Max Beckmann, Ernst Ludwig Kirchner. Colors in the photo may vary slightly from the original depending on your computer screen. Materials: Tinted paper, pastel, varnish, acrylic paints, watercolor
