In a permanent quest to clarify my thoughts, I have recently taken up the use of black. I wanted to find back a clear line of work, a direction that would be the opposite of the chaos of colors that danced in my mind until then. Black combines all colors, it is intense and powerful. It is at the same time the color of anarchy, of piracy, therefore of life, and the color of death. I have also returned to the use of pointillism from Aboriginal arts, as a contrast between contemporary minimalism and primitive art. This painting was created in tribute to protesters, whistleblowers, those who did not submit to voluntary servitude. This armor represents the inner strength of these pirates of modern times.
