I am Ukrainian, the spirit of freedom and thirst for knowledge is in my blood, although I was born and raised in the Soviet Union, which was behind the "iron curtain". Since childhood, I dreamed of traveling. At the age of 5, my favorite book was The Children of Caritan Grant by Jules Verne. Every week I waited for a TV show about travel. At that time, I could not have imagined that at the age of 43, on an autumn evening, I would buy a one-way ticket to Bangkok, that I would see the ruins of Machu Picchu and the coral reefs of the Andamans, climb the Vija Rica volcano in Chile, swim with sharks in the Galapagos and admire the views of Patagonia.
