Primo Vega

Mexican painter of impressionist landscapes and abstract art with 45 years of experience. His studies in architecture and music gave him the key to start painting with no other teachers that the great masters of the past. From his experience watching the stunning scenery of Newfoundland and Labrador in Canada, he started looking for abstraction in landscapes, emphasizing the importance and removing the superfluous. He mainly uses three techniques, watercolor, Acrylic and Oil in large formats and Pastel for small format works. Besides having participated in more than a hundred collective expositions, he has several works in permanent exhibition in numerous galleries, museums and institutions throughout Mexico.
