I am a self-taught photographer with a deep passion for capturing the beauty of landscapes and nature. Although my primary focus is the natural world, I also enjoy photographing people in their authentic environments. My work in fine art photography is distinguished by its dramatic and evocative qualities. As a Colombian living in Bogotá, I am fortunate to call home a country blessed with stunning geography. This natural wealth serves as a constant source of inspiration for a photographer like myself. For me, being a photographer means perpetually observing the world, capturing fleeting moments in time and deriving inspiration from the resulting images. It is about the magic of reliving and reimagining those moments every time I look at a photograph, creating something truly exceptional and inspiring. My photography is dedicated to immortalizing the natural splendor that surrounds us, with a primary emphasis on landscapes and the wonders of the natural world. I am continually driven by the interplay of light, texture, and color. My creative techniques seek to produce images that invoke a deep sense of wonder. I also occasionally employ post-processing to infuse my photos with a touch of drama and a unique final effect resembling oil paintings. I am a Business Administrator and I worked for 38 years in a prestigious banking institution in my country. Throughout my career, my passion for photography was always present, although I had not been able to dedicate the time it really deserved to it. However, upon reaching retirement, I decided to return to this forgotten love and dusted off my old photos to dedicate myself completely to what I have always been passionate about.
