About the artist Mher Gevorgyan

My father Rafik Keshishian was a painter, he was born in 1960 and died in 2021. My name is Mher, I was born in 2001, I am a photographer He created more than 600 paintings in his creative life, now I have inherited more than 200 paintings, some of which I want to sell to beautify the homes of people living in different parts of the world. Soon there will be also a limited number of my photos printed on canvas Read my dad's more extensive biography below I look forward to your cooperation Armenian painter Rafik Keshishian born in Tehran, Iran, in 1960. From early age he loved to draw, then attended art courses, but later worked on self development of painting and sculptures out of wood. His work was exhibited as individual and in group exhibitions at the Ararat, Sipan and Lale exhibition halls in Tehran. Later on, he moved to Armenia and in 1998 with local painters participated in the exhibitions dedicated to the Mother's Day in city Abovyan, which received great acclaim and reputation among the artist circles. He lived and worked in Armenia after that, soon became a member of Capital's Artists organization. Most of his works are located outside of Armenia and in possession of personal collectors. During the 61 years of his life, Rafik Keshishian has managed to create a whole galaxy of abstract and half-abstract style paintings, where he indispensably added musical air affect, mainly throug red, grey and violet tents to his artwork. The psychologist and philosopher characterwise artist always had a low volume symphonic music had been playing in his studio to help him to approach to the artwork. We strongly believe if he wasn't a painter, he would definitely be a musician today. He worked and lived through his paintings every day, and he believed that art should bring people Joy, inspiration, positive emotions, warmth and kindness. He passed away in 2021, and left his legacy behind. Rafik Keshishian has a son from his only marriage. His view about painting With over 50 years of experience in the visual art, he mentions, "he loves the works of Kandinski and Rambrandt only because there are so many undiscovered gaps in their works." He paints during all the hours of the day, but away from noise, and when he paints with his body and soul, he penetrates into that mysterious world, and comes back only after reaching the top of the mountain..
