Oddonkey

I was born in Milan in 1974. Graduated from the Brera Academy in 1994, since then I have worked with the major advertising agencies as a free lance illustrator and storyboard artist. I live in Bologna where I hold drawing and painting techniques courses. I was born in Milan in 1974. I live in Bologna and continue to work with advertising agencies throughout Italy.

Since 2013 I have been working more regularly in the field of caricatures. I called my artistic adventure Oddonkey, (dumb, obstinate donkey) with reference to the humility of research and the unfair underestimation of the art of caricature. I have participated in various international events, humor festivals, fairs and events. In 2015 I received the special mention for caricature at the Tolentino Humor Biennial. 2016: first prize in Portocartoon, international competition of the city of Porto. 2017: honorable mention - “Humor a Gallarate”. 2018: Rino Montanari Award Caricature Section - World Humor Award, Salsomaggiore Terme 2023: Maskter Prize 1st Festival of Caricature Art - Romania - Bucharest
