Julia Nikolaenko is a contemporary mix media artist, who lives and works in Kiev, Ukraine. In 2013, Yulia received a bachelor’s degree as a designer of clothing and jewelry at the Kyiv National University Culture and Arts. She specializes mostly in figurative painting. Julia’s works combine the strong base of the academic school of oil and tempera painting and the simultaneous aspiration to experiments with collage and modern materials. She mixes different techniques to create memorable images that sincerely resonate with the viewer. For her, color and form are merely tools that help to influence the soul, filling the inner world with energy to guide the personality towards growth and development. Since 2018, the artist has been actively engaged in exhibition activities, participating in both group and personal exhibitions and organizing master classes for children and adults.
