Joshua Kahle

I am a self taught artist who began carving ostrich egg shells while working with my father making souvenirs for his shop in Oudtshoorn South Africa, the ostrich farming capital. I soon began to experiment with my own designs during my spare time in hopes of marketing them to the international art community. My carvings are original and and the designs are one of a kind, my sculptures are designed and crafted entirely by hand using a handheld drill suitable for fine work.

I am still very new to displaying my work as an individual artist and so have no exhibition record yet.

My education consists entirely of practical experience working with these materials in a commercial environment and lifelong connection with the process of design and refinement.
