I began to be interested in art in high school drawing classes, when I was eleven years old. In 1983 I entered the Granada School of Arts and Crafts, and for three years I studied drawing and photography. In 1986 I entered the Faculty of Fine Arts of Granada, graduating in the Specialty of Pictorial Restoration. Upon completing my studies, I was presented with the unique opportunity to restore the paintings of some historic houses in the Albaycín, which led me to win the renowned Europa Nostra award. My career continued with the restoration of other works of art until my retirement. I have a deep appreciation for all artistic techniques and always try to adapt the most appropriate technique for each project. Although oil painting is my usual technique, I also use tempera, gouache, or even mix techniques to obtain the desired result. In essence, I do not seek to convey an explicit message, since each work speaks for itself, reflecting my perception. I leave the philosophical interpretation up to the viewer. I simply assign a title to the work and allow the viewer to unleash their imagination.
