Iulian Brescanu

Iulian Brescanu works across music, poetry, painting and video. However, he rejects the so popular nowadays multidisciplinary practice, because he doubts its sincerity. Resulting complex and confusing installations are meant, to his opinion, just to impress the viewer, concealing very often the lack of meaningfulness. the essence of true art is according to him, not to overwhelm people with special effects, but to awake in them subtle feelings that allow a closer communication with the spiritual.
