Gamelba Montemayor

Gamelba Montemayor, a Filipino based-self taught and a freelance artist. I was inspired by Vincent Willem van Gogh, Claude Monet, Frida Kahlo and among others. I'd engaged much in different genres are impressionism, abstract, landscape painting, scene of nature, still life and the rest. I have a lot of ideas to draw and paint such as from movie's, when I travel different countries ( I've worked as a Nanny for 8 years of different countries and different nationalities as well), based on my emotions and personal experiences, connecting to people's and beyond my imagination that would inspire me more to create and recreate, associating with different colours and with certain feelings. I've produced (21) artworks since pandemic and 70 percent of them are already sold out through " word of mouth " ...
