BIOGRAPHY – ANDRZEJ NALEPA Andrzej Nalepa was born in 1967 in Katowice. Painting has become a special passion for him since childhood, he is a self-taught painter. He took part in organized art competitions many times, and often managed to take first place. He expanded his artistic skills for several years at painting classes at the Youth Palace in Katowice. Unfortunately, the introduction of martial law at that time prevented him from further artistic development under the wings of respected artists of that period. Despite the difficulties he encountered and the lack of a virtual world in the form of the Internet at that time, full of strong will, passion and determination, he continued learning on his own, expanding his skills to develop his artistic wings. In the 1980s, he moved with his family to the Vistula and San basin, where there were no opportunities for artistic development, which made painting a pleasure and an escape from everyday life for him in his free time. He paints intuitively, spontaneously, paintings are created from an inner need. He finds inspiration in peace and quiet, observing nature and people. It shows feelings, emotions, moods, as well as dreams and fantasies. He is guided by his own aesthetics and sense of beauty. He has a great passion for creating works that want to arouse the viewer's interest so that he stops for a moment to give in to deeper thoughts that arouse the desired emotions. Many of his works are in the hands of private recipients in Poland and abroad, who have often commissioned works on individual orders. He is particularly fond of the beauty of nature, realism and surrealism, sometimes he also likes to experiment with abstraction, especially when he has a full palette of colors at his disposal. He paints with acrylic and oil paints using brushes, palette knives and fingers. He is constantly looking for solutions and new ways to "perfect" his works.
My works have not been exhibited at exhibitions.
I didn't study at the Academy of Fine Arts.
