Andrii Safo

Hi there! My name is Andrii, I am an artist from Ukraine. I am mainly involved in painting, graphics, and sculpture. I studied at the Kharkiv State Art College, Department of sculpture. As you may know, Kharkiv is famous for its constructivist movement that influenced greatly fine arts, as well as for academic art school with a strong tendency towards formalism, where dramatism of the form becomes the leading motive. This reflects extensively in my works. After graduation, I moved to Crimea, where I had been living and working for 15 years. Unfortunately, after the infamous events, I had to leave my home.
