Andrea Benetti, born in 1964, created and compiled the Neopainting Art Manifesto presented at the 53rd Venice Biennale in the Ca Foscari University Pavilion. Conceptually, the Manifesto is inspired by the genesis of art. In his works, Andrea Benetti quotes, transfigures, plays with, reinvents the concepts and forms of cave painting, creating a perfect bridge between the genesis of the art and its modernity. He has collaborated and continues to collaborate in the implementation of projects with various Italian and foreign universities, including the Johns Hopkins University, the University of Bologna, Roma Tre, Ferrara, Bergamo, Lecce, Bari. There are dozens of university professors and important art critics who have written about Benetti's art and participated in projects created by the Italian artist. These universities conducted research on his art. Benetti's works are represented in collections around the world. In addition to contemporary art museums in Italy and abroad and prestigious private collections, including the United Nations, his works are present in the Quirinale (the residence of the President of the Italian Republic), in the Italian Parliament, in the Vatican, and in various embassies. For this reason, he was received in the Quirinal (the residence of the President of the Italian Republic), in the Chamber of Deputies (the Italian Parliament) and in the Vatican, where he met with Pope Benedict XVI and Pope Francis.
