Anastasia Furdik

I am a professional artist from Kiev. My passion for art began in childhood in Lugansk, where I studied at an art school and then continued my studies at the Lugansk State Institute of Culture and Arts, specializing in artistic design and decoration. As a result, I received two diplomas of secondary and higher education in the field of fine arts. After the occupation of Lugansk in 2014, I had to leave my hometown and move to Kiev. Here I continued my creative activity, working on custom portraits and paintings from life. I take great pleasure in depicting human emotions on canvas, conveying the beauty of nature and architecture. I am inspired by different themes and subjects, but I especially enjoy working on portraits. I strive to convey not only the external resemblance, but also the inner world of my models, their character and mood. In my work I use various techniques and materials, including oil, watercolor, acrylic and pastel. I am constantly experimenting and looking for new ways to express my creative ideas. My paintings are in private collections around the world. I have also participated in numerous exhibitions and competitions, where I have received numerous awards and recognition.
