Alina Matsova is a young Ukrainian artist. My journey began at 9 years old. Back then I didn’t know how to draw at all, but I discovered that I really loved it. The first person who supported me and supports me now was my mother. At first, my paintings were done with old, dried gouache. Over time I switched to acrylic. My work has reached a new level. I was not afraid to experiment and try different techniques, styles, materials. I drew with pencils, dry pastels, and watercolors. Now I’m 13, I paint in oils and this is my favorite paint, my paintings have become much better and I continue to develop, my family and loved ones support me. I would like to wish all aspiring artists (and not only) - believe in yourself, your ideas and hobbies!
