Alina Mastrova

Hello! My name is Alina Mastrova. I have been painting for about 12 years. Around that time I came up with my pseudonym Lina Maiac so I decided putting such signature on my works instead of my real name. 'Maiac' is an abbreviation and transformation of a Russian word 'Маяк' (Mayak) what means 'A lighthouse'. I was born in Kiev and had been living for 25 years there. At this moment I am living in Belgium for 2 years. Prefer using acrylic and oil on canvas and also making sketches with watercolor, gouache and color markers. Topics of painting are fictional characters, animals, still life and some abstraction
