If I had eight hours to cut down a tree, I would spend six hours sharpening an ax. (Abraham Lincoln) This painting from a series of my portraits is made of oil, canvas, tissue paper and love. I only do original work. Each one is unique, so you only have one! I am experimenting with complex textures created by overlaying layers of different materials to pique the viewer's curiosity about what is underneath. ********* Size 50x40cm, depth 1,5cm.
