The painting "Drunken Faun" was written by me under the impression of the sculpture "Barberini Faun" or "Drunken Satyr". The sculpture, by an unknown master, dates back to 600 BC. It was discovered among the ruins of some ancient museum in 1600 some year. The statue was badly damaged, missing an arm and leg. Several generations were engaged in its restoration, including Bernini. The leg was partially restored, but the arm could not be restored. The sculpture was placed in the palace of the Pope, where for a long time it amazed guests with its obscenity, as a result, it was sold to the Bovarian prince Ludwig in Munich, where it remains to this day in the Munich Glipotek. Copies of this sculpture are in the Louvre "Faun of Bouchardon" with a hand, as well as in Peterhof, among the cascade of fountains, in a large grotto.
.....я уверена что в картине должна быть хотя бы маленькая часть души художника...
