Fate, Chinese gouache on paper, acrylic, collage The work consists of 4 pieces, each size 20x16 in, total size 40x30 in decorated in anti-frame. Travel is inspiring, it was a trip to China that was the impetus for creating this work. China is a so colorful country, where traditions and innovations are combined, past and present are harmoniously intertwined with each other. But most of all the foreign traveler is impressed by the way of life, not at all similar to the European one. In this artwork in a concise form, I wanted to convey to the viewer how intertwined life in the country under the red flag. People of different ages and genders, different views and habits, from different parts of the great power are twisted in a spiral of fate, unable to get out. I think you understood my philosophical implication and caught the meaning of this description. It's hard to breathe in China (and I'm not talking about a humid climate or a bad environment right now), so I used large images of the head that fill almost the entire space of the sheet. I think the artwork turned out to be symbolic. When I returned home from China, I had this idea for a long time, made many sketches and thought about the concept. The work was finally completed in December 2019. I'm sure this collage will be a good addition to a modern interior!
For me, the world has no boundaries, like our imagination, art is boundless, like man himself. That is why the central image of my work is man, the paintings are filled with humanism and melancholy at the same time. My paintings are reflections, a search for meaning. In my work I try to be as honest and frank as possible, so I consider my works deeply personal. In my works I combine realistic and decorative techniques, collage and application techniques, I look for innovative ways to express my philosophy. To write paintings I am inspired by life itself, nature, people around. I live in constant creative search.
