In this sculptural composition, artist Elena Gambaryan tells the story of the city’s spring awakening. Every detail, from the bright blue sky to the emerging primroses, is meant to evoke a sense of hope and anticipation. We imagine melting snow and swelling buds and wait for the change from the frozen peace of winter to the joy and riot of flowering summer.

She is interested in ancient and archaic images and sculpture, stone prints and cave paintings. The sculptor is inspired by the forms and ornaments of the arts of different peoples of the world, because it has been honed over the centuries to the harmony and laconicism of forms transformed into a symbol. In her work, Elena Gambaryan seeks the relationship between nature and man and the answer to the question of how a person can establish peace and harmony in himself and be filled with this state from nature. Her creativity is only on the bright side of life. The artist is interested in achieving a feeling of fullness and inner content of the form. She conducts this search in works on various topics.
