Description of the Artwork “REAR WINDOW”

Automatic translation

This abstract sculpture, made in 2022, uses oxidized steel sheet to convey a powerful and sophisticated message. With dimensions of 72 × 55 × 45 cm, this piece challenges the conventions of space, inviting us to reflect on the intersection of art and interior design. It represents not only an aesthetic element, but also an ingenious exploration of materials.

About the artist

I began my career as a photographer, and traveled the world, portraying places, moments and beings, from a different and personal perspective and approach. That professional experience in visual art provided me with knowledge, sensitivity and inspiration, which I later channeled into my other great passion, sculpture. As a material I chose steel, which is quite a challenge due to its complexity to transform it, join it, give it an aesthetic finish, and convert a fragment of that noble material into a creative and emotional proposal. My tireless search for aesthetics and beauty is reflected in the simplicity of my sculptures. They are the result of the ideas that arise from within me, to conceive figures and spaces that transmit movement, sobriety and elegance. My goal as an artist is not simply to create a piece in order to decorate a space, but rather that my work can be admired as a personal and contemporary object, which provokes thought, interpretation and dialogue. My wish is for the public to enjoy my works, as I do when I create and perform them.
