Description of the Artwork “Wind on a Hot Day”

Automatic translation

In this sculpture, Leo Adam brought to life the allegorical image of a summer day. The naked female body, enveloped by the cool wind, symbolizes the escape from the heat and the search for life-saving refreshment. The gentle and at the same time strong strength of bronze conveys the contrast between the lust for life and the need for restoration and peace. The picture described by the artist of a warm summer day on a wild beach, where the cold wind acts as a savior from the heat, turns into a powerful expression of an allegory of life and nature.
