Smell of the sea

Was born in 1985 in Kiev. Since childhood I felt need for a creation, does not matter is it painting, modelling or enything else. Participated in numerous Ukrainian and exhibitions and plein air sessions. This is not my only passion.. Second one is a SEA and I have a grade of Nautical Navigator on the big merchant vessels. Half of my lifetime I spend afloat all around the world. Sometimes my profession has such burden as excess of free time and solitude and this is best chance to look into yourself, focus on your feelings and even find some small talents inside. The sea helps me to derive inspiration, this is like some kind of meditation and I have a chance to unite my job with my passion of creation. A lot of my pictures was drawn on the vessel I was working at. During long seapassages, among vast seadesert, the most things that I missing is a Nature, that's why this is dominating subject of my paintings. So, in such a way I trying to quench my thirst of land. Hope You will feel similar feelings as me during looking on it.
