Oil painting "Old Nicosia" 35 * 45 cm. Oil on a stretcher canvas. Looking through various retro photos, I came across a black and white photo of the capital of Cyprus in 1953. The photo depicted an old cobbled street in the shade of trees, at the crossroads of a man in the then common transport - donkey I decided in a free manner to revive this moment.
Hello! My name is Alla Vasylkova. I am a Ukrainian artist. I paint oil paintings in the style of realism, impressionism and abstractionism. Most of all I like to paint landscapes, still lifes, interior works with the large flowers. I have no preference for choosing a plot for the picture. I equally love to paint seascapes, cityscapes, forests and fields. I am inspired by the beautiful nature of Ukraine, my native land and other places that have sunk into my soul. In interior works and in still lifes, the plot is represented by flowers. In my vision their natural colors and gorgeous forms always looking perfect. In my work, I try to convey my vision of the world. My feeling of individual parts of the world. I pass information through myself and transfer it to the canvas. I periodically experiment with the palette, tools, and strokes. In my work I use a brush and a palette knife, due to which I can get an interesting effect of the volume of the image.
