Description of the Artwork “Chicago Board Of Trade”
This painting was done from a photo I shot in 1996 with a traditional manual camera. I found the composition to be very interesting, especially when cropped into the standard 4 X 6 format. The original was sold at the Mundelein Art Show in 2015 as a Purchase Award winnner.

I am a photo realist painter that works with acrylics on canvas. My primary focus is on the Urban Landscape; Chicago / European. My compositions are usually ambitious and involve a lot of detail and information. Although a typical painting will take up to 150 hours, they are very rewarding when completed. This is the type of artwork I love and am drawn to.
