Description of the Artwork “Khrustalno: Cotoneaster in Ice”

Automatic translation

The black and white photograph shows a red cotoneaster berry, as if drowned in crystal clear ice. Ice frames the berry with its transparent structure, like a precious stone in a silver frame. This wintry moment of frozen beauty creates the impression of a temporary stop and invites the viewer to look into the world of fragility and aesthetics of nature. About the artist

From early childhood I was fascinated by nature. Walking through the steppe or forest, sorting through shells on the beach, I was imbued with its beauty, I learned to notice details. Traveling and exploring different countries, I developed a desire to convey my vision through photography. Finding myself in Kenya with an ordinary digital non-professional camera, I felt powerless from the inability to fully capture what I see and how I see. Since then, I have been constantly developing in the field of photography, I have completed training at a photography school, courses, and shooting in various fields, but nature photography is most attractive to me. Even in the most, at first glance, unsightly natural picture I can find a beautiful element, in a dried bush - a beautifully folded leaf with a sleeping ladybug, in drooping petals I can show the beauty of withering, and frost crystals look interesting on anything.
